 What is it?

A short, foundational change course to give you the knowledge and practical tools for change. It’s run over 4 weeks and is designed for busy professionals who want to learn but also don’t have much time!

Over a 4-week period, you will be sent weekly modules to complete, each module taking 2-3 hours a week – mostly in video format, with reflection and application questions and downloads/templates to use. This gives you the upfront knowledge and tools, and then the whole week to practice and reflect on how you would use the tools, before the next module opens.

Who is the course for?

  • You are wanting to add a skillset that you will help you excel in your HR role and want to ‘dip your toe’ into the change world and find out if it’s for you!

  • You are thinking of changing careers, or adding another ‘feather to your bow’, and would like to look at change management as an option, but you are not ready to commit to a certification before you have decided on the path you want to take.

  •  You are between jobs and are looking for a short course to give you some foundational knowledge so that you can use this information to wow in interviews, and also help you to figure out if maybe change management is the new career you want to pursue.

  • This is a brilliant course for those of you who would love to know more about change, take away some practical tools, and start to expand your knowledge in this highly in-demand skillset.

What’s included in the course?

All of our training follows our unique Analyse. Create. Embed Framework which is designed to give you the skills to practically apply change management tools and techniques to different situations and changes you may work on.

Week 1 – Analyse

These sessions focus us on learning about the individuals perspective in change. We look at how learning differs when moving through change, the individuals journey though the change curve and the environment in which change occurs.

Week 2 – Create

These sessions are all about creating structures around the change process to support those going through it. We cover how to analyse and map stakeholders (both individuals and groups), how to build and utilise a supportive change network, how to assess the impacts of change, and how to build a change roadmap.

Week 3 – Embed

One of the biggest challenges we come up against when dealing with any change initiative is ensuring that the change ‘sticks’! This week I show you how to embed change into the organisation. We cover how to measure change (with top tips on tools that you already use as HR professionals that can be tweaked for change!), where change resistance comes form and how to reduce it and also an introduction to behavioural science, including techniques to use straight away.

Week 4 – Reflections and next steps

This week is to catch up and have a deeper think into what you would like to do next with your new change knowledge.
